I hate this...

I hate this... when I don't use proxy, I get DC and when I use proxy my ping gets too hig.

And what is hig ping in Demigod anyway? Some say it's fine till 400 and some kick you when your ping is over 100.

I have moar to say but my English is no good enough.|||It's either 200+ or 350+ I'm not sure.|||The game sets everyone's ping to 350 once the game starts up. So if you have a stable connection and you have 350 or below, your ping is plenty fine. Unfortunately there's a bunch of people that don't realize this and kick everyone with ping above 50-100 and such.

In addition to all of that, low ping still does not mean you have a good connection. Firewalls, torrents, and downloads can all cause connections to suffer without changing ping much.|||My connection is fine. FA 4v4 on 20km map without net lag.

But the ping thing annoys me. When I have ping around 200 to everyone exept host, I get kicked.

And what is wrong when my ping is 150 to everyone exept one guy(usualy host and gets me kicked) in EU only games?|||Only proxies exist in the US. So when you proxy to a guy (because normal connection failed, "nil" in SupCom), then your connection goes to the US, and back again, which causes much higher ping.|||I must use proxy if I don't want DC so should I start joining to USA games even though I live in Europe?|||If you live in Europe you should join other Europe games to minimize lag/ping.

There are three ways you can currently connect:

p2p

Direct Connect (through other players)

Proxies

With p2p/proxies you shouldnt be having any d/c problems. With direct connect, the only d/c problems you should have are if one other player leaves/quits/disconects, then a bunch of other poeple will too.

What do you mean by, "you get DC when I dont use proxy". Unless your talking about when one player leaves lots of others do too then connecting via proxies or anything else isnt going to change anything.|||DalzK__|||That should be fixed in the 1.01 patch (just released 30 mins ago).
