Also: how/where are the number of spawn of idols defined? And what makes an idol slot specific? Can this be changed or is this hardcoded: I would want to remove the limit on how many idols of the same type you can have, so you could go for instance 4 mino's and 2 priest for more melee dmg or 6 siege archers for a super anti tower build.|||Yes, you can even play on Impulse with pre-arranged friends.
As for your idol specific question, I have no idea.|||Thanks for the quick answer ... but why does everybody ask for mod support?|||Before 30 mins ago you could not use mods via the internet (only lan/hamachi/gameranger).
There is now a command added that allows people to play with modified.exe verions. Just add /mismatchallowed as a parameter and as long as everyone has it, you can use mods.|||its :
/allowmismatch
according to patch notes.|||hehe
TBO is right|||excellent.
time to get back into DG.|||awesome|||Interesting. A small step in the right direction.|||DalzK__|||Awesome!
But has someone found out how idols spawn units? There is quite a bit of code involved and its not really clear what actually creates units.|||Anyone?
UPDATE: Finally found out how change the amount of spawns; its under items(lua/common), pretty easy. But I still havent found out how to make them not idol specific
Update 2: I need to find def.SubInventoryType, as I suspect this defines the idol minion specific restriction. Does anyone know how to find a specific function?
