So, what Demigod to use?

[:1]In the Demo, I managed to use the Rook to considerable effect. I went Hammerslam, Archer tower, Save, Hammerslam, Boulder Roll, Tower of Light, Hammerslam, Trebuchet, God Strength, Hammerslam, God Strength, and then pure towers, I died before the 4th one (By I died I mean we lost).

However, I think I would be better suited with a different Demigod. Any ideas for anything?|||There's only 8. Seriously. Figure it out yourself, champ.|||Read guides. Play the different demigods. PINK's pretty much got it here, you have to try them.|||=/

Alrighty, then.

Also, what's with idiot teammates? We're getting swarmed by enemy minions, and they blow their cash on upgrading the gold mines? That the enemy owns? That we don't have? Seriously, we could have gotten Giants far before them, and I was the only one actually using AoE attacks to take out the enemies, even though we had a Rook that could have cleared half the minions at once...|||I found Erebus to my liking, especially with a lot of those nightstalker upgrades :D

I've yet to try anything online though... There's literally no one around my area...|||I like Torch bearer, but I'm still trying to get the basics worked out before I jump online. So maybe my opinion will change.|||Mazrix|||Depp23|||Raiden2|||Mazrix|||Depp23|||I only have the Demo...

And I'm still WAYYYY too absorbed into Red Faction Guerrilla to start playing a new game :D|||Depp23|||Raiden2|||Depp23|||I liked Queen of Thorns. AoE build before Heart of life nerf, nowadays i usually get minions instead. Problem is they are boring. I've tried torchbearer to revive the AoE, but i die too easily with him. Back to QoT and tried AoE build, but it's pretty hard to use without HoL.

I bought demigod because of what generals were supposed to be (i got the picture they were supposed to be like supcom acu that could spawn lots of T1 units). But as it is now it's onedimensional and repetitive. I can control like 4 shamblers with a sucky UI (nothing like RTS at all!), and then buy an additional 6 units. Ok so where is the diversity? I want more units in separate groups so i can use some tactics, not 10 minions that i have to group up with my hero, or else they are only good at killing towers. The minions do decent damage, but they still feel like mosquitoes that just annoys everyone (including me).

So i got tired of the game :(

Went back to SupCom and FA and rediscovered how much it owns.|||I'm loving the minions atm. You have to consider like 5-8 = 1 DG (nonAoE). Erebrus and Oak can have a total of 16 minions which is a ton of units to be messing around with. I do wish it was easier to control them though, mostly just being able to make ctrl groups.

Currency is extremely useful. Just as useful as additional creeps. Lvl 1 is a must, lvl 2 is nice when you can afford it, and lvl 3 isn't needed unless its a 4v4 or 5v5. Its also the only upgrade that pays for itself directly.|||Depp23|||pkc|||Agreed.|||I had been playing for a day :P

Besides, none of them actually had anything beyond base armor it looked like. We were boxed in and they were buying citadel upgrades that took several minutes to pay off, and our enemies had several thousand more HP than my allies.

Oh, and they consistently got tower upgrades.

our towers were gone.
