[:1]Holy frak. Having multiple people use Cape of Plentiful Mana is insane. I just played a game as Sedna with a QoT on my team. We were able to spam the crap out of that thing, and we could keep on shielding/healing without having to go to crystal. Plus, both of our capes were under the magnificent presence cooldown reduction. On Cataract, our capes had a 32 second cooldown with Presence II, and using capes one after the other meant that we had 20 seconds of +400% mana for 20 seconds on about a 32 second cooldown. We could spam our abilities without worrying about mana, because it was almost like we had a permanent +400% mana regen bonus.
Holy frak. I'm going to try this with my premade.
Edit: In case you didn't know, the Cape of Plentiful Mana is a aura. It will affect nearby allies.|||If one spams this as soon as the cooldown ends, two capes with MP II on Cataract translates into a permanent +243% mana regen bonus. With a Vlemish faceguard and natural regen, the two capes will bring your total mana regen to about 68 mana per second. Over about 5 seconds, this equals 347 mana, which is about half of a Rank 4 heal.
It's reasonable to assume that you can spam this every 32.85 seconds, since it's instant cast, and can't be interrupted unlike WotS.
Magnificent Presence allows you to spam abilities faster, and Cape of Plentiful Mana allows you to spam them for a longer sustained period of time. That's pretty good synergy.|||I've tried it multiple times now. Teammates love the boost they get with it, and it fits the support role of Sedna perfectly. I'm putting it on the legit favor item list now.|||It sounds very useful. Unfortunately not exactly the kind of favor item Im looking for in my UB build. :)|||You never realized it was awesome before?|||I'm sticking with BotF until I get more favor items. I'm shooting for Wings of the Seraphim, actually, for my Oak. Look at it this way:
Blood of the Fallen:
800 HP, +5 regen
Wings of the Seraphim:
+200 HP/s until damaged.

At a glance, BotF looks better. Let's crunch some numbers, shall we?

Shield: Invulnerability (3s)
Wings of the Seraphim: 200x3=600 HP.

Yes, you saw that right. You get 3 seconds of smashing his face in, and 600 HP to boot. Let's go further!
_________________
Level 2 shield: Invulnerability (4s). [4 seconds of not taking damage, and 800 HP]
Level 3 shield: Invulnerability (5s). [5 seconds of not taking damage, and 1000 HP]
And so on and so forth. Yes, this means you can end up healing 1,200 HP in the middle of a fight while fighting as well for 6 seconds.|||read eskendale's guide to the healing oak. It works.|||K, just read it. Seems pretty much 90% what my strategy is, the other 10% is improvements upon my strategy.
