Most games end by now. I haven't really even worked out what I'd level from here anyway.
Ok, by now some (many?) of you are shouting obscenities at your computer screen and calling me a noob. That would be right, I haven't had the game for four days
Ok, now for the items:
I know I should get monks, but I'm not sure if I should monks as my first item. But, if I don't get them first I don't tend to get them until a little bit late -- but if I do get them first I won't have as much hp and mana (which means fewer bites).
Currently I go (without monks)
Scaled helm+scalemail (to start)
Banded armor
Gauntlets of brutality
Vlemish (may get this earlier if I can)
Nimoth
Hauberk of Life
Plenor (once I have all those skills I tend to burn mana very fast).
So, any advice?
Also, I have been using BotF as my favor item, for two reasons: 1. I can't afford much anything else. 2. I don't know of any other decent alternatives. While cloak of night is good, it doesn't really seem to be necessary for an Erebus.|||I suggest getting Banded Armor and a mana potion instead of scaled helm and scalemail.
Also, I really, really despise abilities that take effect after you die. I really do. How about this, fellers, HOW ABOUT YOU DON'T DIE IN THE FIRST PLACE? (Just a little rage
In the better games I've seen and played, no one dies very often at all until the very end when they're stuck in their base and it's "fuckall and spam abilities" time. What's the point in an ability that fires off two or three times a game?
Edit: I'm not totally sure if this works, but I think you can buy priests, fire them off next to your crystal, sell the totem, and then get banded armor and such.
Edit again: Dark Crimson Vial seems to be OK if you're teaming up with an ally. You can quickly get the bonus from BotF, without much trouble. It gives you a disadvantage early game, but late game it can add up to something near 2000 HP. Now fire up Sigil of Vitality first. 4000 HP for a 2 second cast.|||IsikBala|||Your item choices and build are...OK

9.Safe
10.Bite IV and Bat II
11.Charm III
12.Charm IV|||Lifekatana|||I rarely see Poisoned Blood anywhere, in any games. It's just far more efficient skill point wise, damage wise, and HP wise to GOGOGO with the priests and Bite. My reasoning with the Banded Armor and the Mana potion is so that you can get Mana back, and you get a large extra HP bonus at a ludicrously low price. You can't get it AND get scaled helm off the bat unless you want your allies screaming "GTFO OF THAT BASE", but you can rather quickly afford it with a buncha creep kills or a lucky early enemy DG kill. TBH I look whenever someone dies to see what's going on in that area, as do a lot of people, making Poisoned Blood less useful, and easily negated on makes like Exile (Where most fighting takes place around the healing crystals, therefor, you can take it, and regen)|||I been using a different build since ring of divine might and horn of battle have been removed. I prefer to only get 1 point in coven to increase to six nightwalkers I now concentrate on mist. Do you know mist heals allies as it is doing damage really sweet in some 3 v 3 battles especially in creep waves.
1. bite
2. coven
3. mist
4. bite
5. batswarm
6. poisoned blood
7. bite
8.mist
9. save
10. bite and 2nd blood
11. mist
12. mist
13 charm
14 save
15 bloody haze and life steal aura
16 charm
17 charm
18 charm
19 muddle
20 batswarm 2 or coven 2
My favor item has been pendant of grace. 10% evade 15% minion evade I also been using it with Sedna also.
My must have item with this is 1750 boots which add 10% evade
at level 15 erebus gets another 10% with maxed mist
And by level 15 I usually have enough gold for 12000 cloak +750 armour 20% movement speed 15% evade and warp damn that item rocks well as you can see I now have 45% evade. Try it out have fun nothing better then standing there toe to toe with someone with double your hp and your near full as he runs cause he is low on hp and you got two warps to use on his escape.
Later|||Sounds interesting, can you explain the mechanics of mist to me?
For instance, the health draining, how does the healing of allies work? Is it capped at the same amount as the damage per sec, or do you simply drain X amount then heal nearby allies for X amount (i.e. could you heal for 250 a sec with L4 Mist if there were ten enemies nearby and 5 allies?).|||Legolan|||Time for my input

The build isnt bad
Bite is always good to put up
Bat swatm is priceless but dont bother putting it above level 2 although is seems like you rarely make it there
Personally however Ive found that Lord Erebus' strength is in his nightcrawlers
Ive found mass charm isn't very useful due to the long time it takes to cast however that is probably just me. I would only advise getting a single level of it however to prevent tele
Getting mist for avoiding UB's venom spit, TB's Fireball, Reg's snipe and the Rook's Hammer Slam is definetly advised. As long as thats ALL you use it for
Enter a fight with bite once you have lost some health (so you take full advantage of the fact that bite drains health)
My build is more works with priority
Bite is always my number 1 priority and is leveled up as fast as possible
If I need Mass Charm or Mist I buy it but only one level
Getting the improved versions of Coven and Conversion Aura is useful mainly for overwhelming your opponent
Using the build that you mentioned with Haurberk if you get Coven III and Aura II you should have 18 Nightcrawlers with over 1000HP
Now just throw yourself at towers
Of course Im probably wrong but I find the teleport amulet handy with Erebus
Mind you Im tempted to try that 45% evade build...
Oh yeah and that Blood upgrade. An extra 15Hp/sec regen is worthy 2 skill points. A must have if only for the first level. Still not sure if vamparic aura is worth it
