Nerf Hitpoint Items

[:1]Seriously, Demigods balance has been one of the best Ive seen from start ever, apart from a few bugs the balance between the demigods has been close to perfect.



Anyway as one plays the game one cant fail to notice the heavy focus on health items, basically everyone stacks them and gets 5k+ hp, at which point they are close to impossible to kill unless you menage to get a 3v1.



With a new patch coming out within the next month if I can trust the rumors, would it perhaps be time to reduce all health item effects by perhaps not as much as 50%, but at least reducing them a tad may be good for the gameplay?





P.S. perhaps increase the amount of favor needed for a side to win pantheon by 3x or something, atm it runs for 3 days and is down for 2 days. make it 9 days and down for 2 days to minimize the downtime.|||On a similar note, I lol'd when Frogboy said Demigod has strategic depth. :P Stacking hp out the wazoo doesn't equal deep strategy.|||I agree that stacking health/armor is a problem. However just nerfing everything in the armor tab is not the solution, there have to be some additional changes. Nerfing armor will also buff some demigods like Torchy (okay), Regulus (okay), Sedna (oi) and Erebus and his minions (o oh...)



Other builds like Ooze UB will suffer greatly and Hammerslam Rook will be an easy target. Nerfing is okay but careful please. :)



It might also be good to take a look at some of the items like Plenors Battlecrown (1500g, 1575 mana, +70% mana/s). Erm, thats all you need in combination with Vlemish Faceguard and more powerful than the Vinling Helmet (twice as expensive).



Also Hauberk of Life and Sigil of Vitality have some nasty bug. It seems that under certain circumstances they can actually lower the health of minions instead of increasing them (QoT Shamblers).|||"One item of a type" would improve this game! I think it's weird how you can wear 5 armors. That would make for much better gameplay imo.|||Soul|||Thats what I was thinking, 2 items of a kind and you're set, you can stack HP only to a certain point, and if you aren't going for a build that needs HP, then you'll never buy the two best health pieces, you'll be too busy buying a mana items or a damage or speed item.





It is really gay seeing a UB or Rook with 7k+ health, or a torch or reg with 4k+. :?|||I think two of a kind would be a good idea, but what do you do about things like Narmoth's that aren't technically armor? You'd have to re-categorize the items to make that work I think.|||i think a buff to damage items is preferable to a nerf to health items.



Soul|||Soul|||I don't think you can get around the fact that it would limit build potential.



IE: rebalancing without restricting number of body-part items, but I guess that depends on what you're suggesting with that.|||Der_Donnervogel_|||Yeah health stacking needs a change
