Favor reset left me bummed

I understand resetting wins and losses. That makes sense. Favor points should have been left alone. Now I have to work all over again to get:



Heaven's Wrath

Cloak of Night

Essence of Magic

Blade of the Serpent

Tome of Endurance

Amulet of Teleportation

Swift Anklet

Blood of the Fallen



There were also another six or seven favor items that I was trying to get. It took me a solid month of work to get these, as I lost 37% of the time.



Working for favor items is not "fun." I put in my time, and it went to waste. I wanted to try new strategies, and I worked to get the favor items. I really don't feel like starting over now. I'm not going to spend hours and hours to get back my favor items.|||I'm not stoked about it either, but I'm really not that upset. If GPG/Stardock keep up this pace of gradual improvement I really don't have much to bitch about. Although I might whine occasionally.|||Well, if you feel that it was "work" to get the favor items, then maybe you are not having fun with Demigod in the first place?





I don't mind the loss (+ the balance changes), forces me to play differently than usual :)|||Spooky|||It was not work. You were playing a game. You had fun with that. If not, then why would you play that game in the first place?



I certainly never played just to gain favor points. I played for fun and to smite the enemy.|||DeadMG|||You can always have fun in custom games without favor items.|||I have suffered through 5 games so far and have finally enough to get swift anklet in my next game. It really sucks if you want to play UB and you are outrun by every other player on the field except Rook. And the 800HP form Blood of the Fallen would have saved me more than once tonight.



If necessary I'll host a few No Favor games tomorrow. I sick of being hunted down by a 5000+ HP Oak whos faster thanks to swift anklet.



And whoever came up with the magnificent idea to give us all only 150 favor should try to stand toe to toe with an experienced Sedna player who has Blood of the Fallen already. Great fun, I enjoyed it so much!|||I had basically everything unlocked. There's only really 8 or so items worth a crap anyway.|||Spooky|||RapierX|||Shadow, do tell. If you don't want to tell us, at least tell us if it's a assassin/general/generic favor item.



I was wanting to try Blood-soaked wand. I guess I'll have to wait now. I had a few strategies for its AoE heal that I wanted to try.



P.S. Saamel's Cloak needs a buff now. Not to mention you can just host and turn them off if you can't stand facing a superior item.



I've only played 4 matches since the reset, I enjoyed actually being challenged by UBs since I couldn't afford BotF for my Sedna. I like being challenged, losing is no big deal, forces me to play better.
