Seriously, I was a freaking juggernaut. Godplate by level 14, Girth of the Giants by level 16. The only reason I didn't put all that money into creeps was that I was having too much damn fun owning everyone. One of the players on the other team was Oak, before the game he was boasting about an "Oak Assassin" build he was going to pull on us. Needless to say I killed him probably 6 times in a row, without dipping below half health in any of those cases.
If you play UB, try putting no points into anything but Ooze, Diseased Claws, Inner Beast, Foul Grasp, and Plague. It kicks Spit's rear end every day of the week and twice on Sunday.|||Yes ignoring spit and focusing on Ooze will assure you a win in almost every melee fight you have. Spit is really just good for the hit and run sort of warfare. No Spit + Ooze is truly powerful with a huge amount of dps. But you don't get as many other cool perks like slow down or speed.|||Ooze is a good build. I've sort of come up with a way to play with Spit + Ooze + Bestial Wrath. I'm still testing it out, but it works pretty well.
P.S. I've never understood why plague is necessary. Why is it so great?|||I never saw the use for plague either; it doesn't do nearly enough damage to be worth the skill points.|||PheonixIV|||Epiphenomenon|||AgentSmith16|||no idea, im extraordinarily crap at this game.|||The trouble is that Ooze UB has to get into melee range.. not easy with my towers.. kekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke... you get the point.|||You can sit there with your towers. This is me going around your towers.|||The good thing about plague is that you can get it going on the whole other team, its damage is negligible but it interrupts HoL and any other heal over time effects. If you go against oponents who use HoL you def wanna think about getting the first rank of Plague.|||DeadMG|||Col. Jessep|||Ooze UB can be good, yes, but the real reason for this is that Ooze UB gets a lot of mileage out of gearing up. If you don't get a lot of kills, its not as strong as you think. Also, spit is a lot more usefull against range/towers/and for harrasment.
I don't understand why everyone always takes all these passives and attributes, they're so ineffecient compared to the MASSIVE dmg spit does.
Spit does the most dmg (over time) of all starting abilities, 600 dmg. Ofc a dot is not the same as DD, but still. So in conclusion, take spit first, then switch over too ooze+spit around lvl6 where ooze gets a lot better.|||Sevenix|||Quote:|||katana, an equal skilled/level Ooze UB will always beat a Spit UB. That's because of the major attack speed reduction that ooze has. At max level I think it's something like 40% attack speed reduction. That basically means other DGs are doing half their autoattack dmg to you than normal. But spit has its uses that ooze doesnt have, such as attacking towers since ooze doesnt effect towers.|||regabond|||Epiphenomenon|||Idk what kind of half decent UB wouldn't get their stun skill. That thing can turn the tide of a fight AND get you your kills specifically when your prey tries to teleport out.|||Sedna > UB.|||Team of sednas > all.|||Z32|||AgentSmith16|||Any UB will go toe to toe with Sedna and win in late game. Early its all Sed, Probably about even in mid game as UB will be HP stacking to the point where Sed can't burst enough to really hurt and UB isnt dealing enough dmg to get past the heal spam.
Not that 1v1 is terribly relevant, but anyway...
