So does ANYONE use Torch Bearer?

[:1]I think I shall have to rectify this problem once I get the game =O|||Plenty of Torch Bearers online, he is very popular with new players. I would not recommend him for beginners, too squishy, too much can go wrong. Start with UB (ooze), Erebus or Oak (assassin). Ooze UB is easy to play, has plenty HP and is fast. Erebus can teleport away if things go south, has mist to counter spit... Oaks shield will come in handy a lot of times and you can buy Monks for healing support, very useful. Oak and Erebus need a little trainig but they are very versatile and fun to play.|||isik|||TB just doesn't have any defining skills like the other DGs have.|||What do you guys think of the QoT?|||You should get some serious online experience before you even think of playing QoT imo. It's probably one of the hardest demigods to start with. I've seen players use QoT with great success but you should start with something easier to learn imo.|||I use torch and QoT.

Qot is easy to use, just get minions, spam shields and keep out of range of enemy dg's. Use your ground spikes to lower their armor when your tag teaming a enemy. Mainly support and lane pushing.

Ice torch with a fireball is the way to go but it generally peters out in the later levels once artifacts come into play. Unless your good with deep freeze.|||QoT isn't hard but she is harder than any other demigod.

I use TB and QoT a lot and normally have large success with both on most games.|||I have the feeling a Sedna with a Hammer Rook would be absolutely devastating....|||you should play more, there are a lot of devastating combos|||isik|||hammer rook looks attractive in almost any combination. At later levels you can't engage him if you have 2k or less hp, which is a pretty serious "snipe"|||Hammer is a bit of a strange in high team number conflicts, it's very easy to interrupt but a good land can do a truly hideous amount of damage.|||I've never been able to play Rook and not have serious mana issues or serious survivability issues.|||Hammer Rook is fearsome. The thing is that even dieing a few times doesnt matter that much since your pushing power and lategame potential is so good, obvouisly needs alot of skill.

Also for the people that think doubles are fine: Spook, Jessep and I just played some double Rook + UB games and we totally smoked opposing teams, including good regulus players. As long as we stayed together we were unstoppable.

P.S. Hammer +Sedna, played against it once: sick.|||I've never seen a good rook who went early hammers. It's not a good build.

You guys talk about late game pushing power on a hammer rook which really makes me wonder how exactly you're building your characters. You can go towers for early game dominance and still have max rank hammers by late game.

If you're getting structural transfer or stats as rook you're doing something wrong.|||I actually rotate. Tower 1, then about level 7-11, every point goes there. It often catches the enemy unawares as they're thinking "oh, Tower Rook..." then suddenly roll and slam.|||Why do so many people hate on structural transfer? Early on I like to use it so I can stay out in a lane for longer, without wasting money on health potions.|||pkc|||pkc|||But that’s why I use it in defence; when there’s no demigods around. Only an idiot would use it otherwise. Lane is clear, run back, devour tower that’s gonna un-summon soon anyway. Back to max health, go kill minions again.|||pkc|||Obscenitor
