I'm actually starting to understand this game.

[:1]I'm shocked I picked it up the day it was released, and honestly I failed at it. The normal AI beat me all the time. And let's not even talk about online. But finally I am getting a feel for it and understanding the different builds. I might actually have found a game that I can play.|||no you're not.|||What demigods are you playing?|||Epiphenomenon|||Look up the correct spelling instead of commenting on it you imbecile!|||zordon|||Torchbearer is a hard DG to play. Try Unclean Beast. Level up Spit and Ooze. Use Blade of the Serpent for your favor item. Stack health. It's a very easy Demigod to play.|||1. Just read a guide or two on Sedna/Lord Erebus on Stardock.

2. Practice it once or twice against the AI.

3. Congratulations, you are now better than 60% of the Demigod community.

Seriously, if you just know to buy monks and hp stack you are doing well. Oh, and use chat. And Teleports. There, now you're like top 75%.|||Yes, Sedna and Erebus are good beginner Demigods as well.|||Epiphenomenon|||Legolan|||pkc|||Techubus|||Raiden2|||Techubus|||well, i was actually looking out for your best interests.

Quote:|||Has he gotten stupider lately? I swear I didn't even notice the annoying **** until the last 1000 posts.|||Yes.|||Ah, I see I was way off :)|||Wow when did Zordon the ****** arrive?
Is X3 actually any good? It seemed a bit... meh
Oh and I would say that Torch Bearer and QoT are the worst Demigods so avoid them. Sedna and UB will scorch anyone 1v1 except maybe an Oak once he gets a few kills past level 10 or a minion erebus
And beating the Ai is easy. Dont let them get a kill and they will suck *** badly.
One final note
Dont
Ever
Ever
For the love of all things pure
Ever
Use Yetis
...
No
Seriously
Dont|||_Golgoth_|||The spell damage doesn't scale, for a start. This makes it very difficult to build a TB to counter a health-stacker, since there's nothing you can do besides level up to increase your damage output. Secondly, TB is a weak Demigod in terms of health, and many of his abilities require close range, which is a bad combination.

I'd pick maybe Sedna. Stack health, buy monks, problem solved. You can have some insane healing on a Sedna.|||DeadMG|||Raiden2|||I've never been a fan of fire TB myself, I've always preferred going pure ice. Solo I agree he's too vulnerable to stand up to the health stacking.

Combine him with a good offensive DG like UB though and he gets plenty dangerous. He basically makes your teammates job a lot easier with those stuns and slowing auras. Being able to take out waves of reinforcements and freeze structures helps too.
