[:1]Here's an interesting build I saw the other day for Reg:
Mines + Mark + Maim + Poison Dagger. It seems to work really well. The guy who used it didn't really get snipe until about level 9 or so. Thoughts?|||I haven't played Regulus at all online so far (I really hate him). However Ive been on the reveiving end on that build once and it felt like I stopped moving altogether. If you stay close to a damage dealer on your team this can hurt.
I wonder if it makes sense to take snipe that late into the game. Maybe one level to get more assists. Do you get assists when you only do 250 or something damage?|||Yeah, with that build I either wouldn't bother at all (just farm creeps with Fury lv1 or mines) or try to assist for an early kill with Snipe lv1. Other than that, it works pretty well if your team is well coordinated, especially with a UB.|||It works well if the other members of your team are high burst dealers like UB. It fails hard if you have teammates like Rook.|||It really depends. UB is completely designed to get in your face and rape you, Rook is designed to make pretty pictures with Towers as you burn under their wrath. If you can get someone stuck in the tower farm, you're ace.|||IsikBala|||Someone comes to your farm to get you, a quick boulder roll and hammer slam and they can be almost entirely dead.|||It really depends. To have meaningful Boulder Roll, Hammer Slam, AND Tower of Power, it has to be pretty late in the game. By that point they're carrying Sigils, and have more than enough HP to take 1,700, a couple seconds in a Tower farm, and then make a pretty good escape.|||bala...are you isik?
Also, I use the build myself but I get snipe I as first skill, its the best skill to take, and its always the best. Not getting atleast snipe I is like not getting a favor item.|||Isik got banned, I am Isikbala. (Yes.)
Snipe first? Really? I take mines or Angelic fury for leveling up quickly against creeps. Then I get snipe, second or third.|||IsikBala|||I do go full towers, since that's honestly what the Rook is all about.
You seem to be missing the whole "8000 HP" thing. But, yes. Towers are nasty, nasty, nasty things.|||Meh. 8000HP < What I have.|||If that's with Sigil, then I understand.

Wut?|||Towers do not scale after level 10. Trebuchets, armor, level 3 mines, and catapults will counter them.
That said, I've seen tower Rooks do decent if they have a Staff of Renewal, especially on Cataract. You also need an Orb of Defiance. If my opponents don't have an interrupt (i.e, QoT+Regulus), then I'll get structural transfer. If they lack AoE, I'll put 3-4 points in towers if I think I can make a devastating push.
